  1. LOTRCRAZY! says:

I was cracking up the whole time!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Hazah that makes me want to fly just because I want to watch the video again! :)

  2. luvLOTR&TH says:

    this is frickencrazyfunnyawesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Great video I liked it

  4. Love The Video!! Really Funny and well thought out!!! Awesome job you guys!

  5. Why is New Zealand so awesome???

  6. LOTR nerd :) says:

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was soooooo funny! I would pay for a ticket in every individual seat just to hear it over and over again! LOL SO FUNNY!!!!! great job!

  7. That’s the first time in my life I’ve actually paid complete attention to the safety presentation – thank you New Zealand Air and Peter Jackson ;-)

  8. Excellent video – very clever – reminds me of the Star Tours ride video at Disney sites, when you are waiting to board the ride and watching the overhead monitors. I wish someone would build an LOTR theme park! Anyway, love the humour and I bet more people watch the safety video than they did before! Wish I could visit New Zealand to take in some of the atmosphere.

    • I don’t think Tolkien’s family would want to see such a theme park. I think having the current New Zealand “Shire” you can visit is a good compromise, though.

    • LOTRCRAZY! says:

They totally should build a them park!!! but I also agree with Susan. I also think that New Zealand would loose some of their business because of the theme park……..unless they built it in New Zealand!!!!! :D

  9. NORI dori says:

    That was the best thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

  10. My old Gaffer would have a thing or two to say if he saw this.

  11. Genius!!! I’ll have to fly Air New Zealand now just to thank them for taking part. It’s a shame this can’t be included in the Hobbit movies. Hey – what about a fourth Hobbit film in which a wizard invents a flying machine?

    • One does not simple fly into mordor….

No srsly you would have a huge army of angry fans rdy to steal ur sould and peters for suggesting this xD

  12. This was so good! Definitely the most awesome take on the usual airplane procedure.

  13. Who was the fellow at 1:39 saying “My precious”?

  14. Ha! I love it. I think I’ve wathced three times already!

  15. I learned that such a short book divided into three parts … well, well … I see no reason to go to the movies. have to download the whole trilogy a couple of years…ty bastards

  16. Next time a friend of mine flies anywhere they have to watch this XD

  17. They should show this on ALL airlines!

  18. great. this was really helpfull

  19. I loved it, many surprise ‘visits’ kept it rolling. Love the fact the airline could get so ‘non-formal’ for once and get someone to watch their safety video. Keep up the good work. PS- I have my tickets for 48FPS at midnight IN HAND.

  20. hobbitlover says:

Who is the girl with red hair at 2:16 of the video?

  21. LOTR nerd :) says:

My maths teacher said the Hobbit trailer look atrotious! I’m never speaking to him again and I’m not taking A-Level maths ’till he apologises. All my freinds love this video and the behind the scenes was so good :) That little boy was soooo cute!

  22. Just back from vacations, and what a pleasant surprise! I check the blog for new updates all the time!

  23. Dwarf-Obsessed says:

GO DEAN O’GORMAN!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!

  24. HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

  25. What is the music that is playing in the background?!

  26. I just love that Dean O’Gorman is in it!
I guess i’ve replayed that part about 10000 times ^^
