And the winner is…

Thanks to you, our burglar and unsung hero Bilbo Baggins, took the popcorn for Best Hero at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.

He couldn’t have done it without you.  Thanks for voting!

  2. Yay!!! 🙂

  3. To be honest, I didn’t see it coming given all the nasty things that the headlines have said about the hobbit.

(Not saying they’re right-good for Bilbo!)

  4. Hi, I don’t know if you know… but some ringers have put together a twitition for the MTV presentation debacle… ie it being a backstage 20 second presentation, no speech, no clips, no pictures… not even a mention of Martin Freeman…

Ringers felt let down by mtv, for all the effort put into voting, and feel Martin, Bilbo, PJ (and crew), Tolkien and Ringers deserved better.

If you agree please sign it. http://twitition.com/jzg3e

I am so impressed with this film and Peter Jackson (and team) should be patted by strongly on the back!! I love all the little references to the LOTR, through speech, actions and music along the way; plus the imagery is STUNNING!!! Martin Freeman does an AMAZING job, and is sooo like the old Bilbo Baggins, that it could be the same person!! It has been made with such care and love and HONESTY that I really hope that Peter Jackson (and team!!) are proud of their achievement!

  7. Look the Bilbo character as portrayed by the Elvish historians may win awards and it was a very good film, incidentally, I’ve always been suspicious of his story. A group of dwarves and one wizard, none of whom he knew, descend on him one day and persuade him to go to some place he’d never heard of to disturb a notably mean dragon while engaging in a skill (burglary) in which he had no experience or training. Yeah, right. More likely is he was a burglar to begin with and thought the proposal was a good chance to blow town. wwww.darthisinnocent.com

Bilbo knew Gandalf and trusted him, though Bilbo was not exactly pleased with Gandalf picking him for the adventure.
Bilbo is a Baggins, yes, but remember: he is also a TOOK!

Have you even read the book?

  8. Of course bilbo should win the best hero title, i really looking foward too see the the first trailler of desolation of smaug, but should’t the trailer coom soon, hope so.
