Hi there. Jut wanted to know when the advance tickets for Europe will be released. Does anyone know yet or…? Can’t wait for the hobbit movie(s). Watching every video to do with the hobbit in anticipation for the movie. Only 1 month and 6 days to go!

  10. folco townsend says:

Wait a second! My previous post was not November the 9. It was November the 8 here in the UK. Just wanted to clarify that.

  11. hey what if the theaters around my area have showings on fandango for 2D and regular 3D but none for HFR 3D? should I bother waiting for a HFR 3D showing in my area?

  12. This will be a grand family affair for us! We’ve watched the Trilogy countless times so far. I hope this one will be just as good or better than the Trilogy.

    • folco townsend says:

To be honest, it depends on your opinion whether or not this one will be better than the trilogy. The hobbit is a great book, but a small one. The film will be rather long to be split into three separate films.

  13. LegolasPippin says:

Bought my tickets on Fandango on November 7th. Can’t wait to see it on the big screen at MIDNIGHT!!! Me and a few other girls I know are dressing up as elves….we’ve been buying costume stuff since February!!! Can’t wait to actually put it all on and go see this movie!!!

  14. LegolasAwesomenesss says:

    Got some!!:)

  15. folco townsend says:

Ok folks. It’s crunch time. I am stuck and need your help. I have been pondering this for ages and could not come to a decision. Should I go to watch the movie in 24 fps (frames per second), 24 fps 3D, or the lifelike 48 fps? Many have criticized the 48 fps, saying it is too lifelike and takes away the feeling of watching a film. I disagree, but still don’t know. What do you think? Replies are much appreciated. Thank you.

    • folco townsend says:

P.s. The date is November the 12th and it is 4:55pm. I do not wake up in the middle of the night to post things onto the website. :)

    • Nár son of Frerin says:

It sounds like you want to see it in 48 fps, so I wouldn’t worry about what others may like. I want to see it in 48 fps 3D but I cannot find any way to tell the format various theaters will have except to contact each one individually. Someone would do us all a great favor by posting information on where to find this info. I checked theaters in Indianapolis and Cincinnati, but their web sites do not say what formats they will have. I did find one theater in Covington,KY that will show 48 fps 3D.

      • folco townsend says:

My apologies, for I cannot find the details anywhere online either. But I also live in the UK and so wont be able to find you the details for the US either. I will see what i can do but don’t get your hopes up ;)
